IT IS A SAD NEWS FOR ALL KANNADA FANS DURING THIS YEAR END.
C. Aswath died Tuesday(29.12.2009) after a prolonged illness
in the Asian Columbia hospital here on his 70th birthday.
He suffered kidney failure which triggered off multiple health
problems.
C.Aswath's Birthday also coincides his Death day! Yes he was
died on his Birth date itself. His fans were supposed to
release 2 Albums to mark his Birthday today, but were shocked
with the death news of Aswath.
His unique singing style and voice really attracted Kannadiga's
and even other language music fans. There is no alternative to
his voice in Kannada now. The Sugama Sangeetha/Bhavageethe
field will have to find a suitable substitute to make
Sugama sangeetha to lead further.
